1. The History Of Fosichos

   Fosichos is a world far more advanced than Earth. While skimming the streets of Prodx, it would not be unusual to see kids hoverboarding down the street or a man with a robotic left arm. Although it is highly advanced, technology-wise, pollution is almost unheard of, safe for some of the larger cities. Poverty and hunger are as much of an epidemic as it is in our world, along with crime, murder, and arson. Fosichos is not a eutopia--far from it-- but it is an amazing and beautiful world with cultural diversity and interesting places and people.

   Life had been pretty simple, when all of a sudden BAM. An esteemed scientist, by the name of Dr. Intanaire, had finally done it. He had ripped a hole in our dimension, and used that hole to travel to a small, far less technically advanced world known as Edar. He was 25 years old.

   Over joyed at this amazing discovery, the world was sent into an array of cheerful parties, and Dr. I quickly grew to become a legend amoung common people and scientists alike. However, 2 years later, a mysterious organization by the name of NWP (Nucleur War Project) anounced it had found a permanent rip in the fabric of our universe. They quickly patched it up, but the thought of a miniscule rip in the world, one such tiny rip that could bring about the downfall of man and other beings in totality, frightened many people. They converged apon Dr. I with demands of information. He quickly shook them away, saying that he was not entitled to the fate of the world, but to the evolution of knowledge.

   Now, in present time, Dr. I is the headmaster of Intanaire Boarding School, where children are raised to use Adjrs (remotes made to make travel through dimentions easier) to better this world and surrounding ones. The threat of ripping the universe to shreds still rests on the horizons, though, and many question whether it is worth the risk... Such as NWP.

Starting Guide

1. Read the rules

2. Creating Your Character

   A character should be deep and detailed. In a way, they are part of you, so they should be named, described, and chosen a picture for, as if they were a real person.

   A name that fits like a glove:

   The first thing on the creating you character agenda: your name.

   You name should be unique and reflect upon you character's background or personality. If they are a born vampire (for once human vamps, this is not neccessary), for instense, they should have a name that would fit it vampire history and culture. You could just pick a name that you like, if you want, though.

   Age & Gender:

   • You are only allowed to be between the ages of 10-20, since this rp is based in a boarding school.
   • You can be a male, female, or unidentified. I do not really care, it's your person.

   Picture

   Picking a picture should take some time, and really exemplify the traits of your charecter. Feel free to edit and change the picture a little if you so please. I also do not care if you, at a later time, change your picture, so long as it still has a resemblance to your old picture. Your picture may NOT include: Your real face, vulgar or otherwise gruesome pictures, pornography, nudity, or any other media that may be offensive to other members.

   Personality:

   Your personality is a key role in how your character will react to and face seperate rp situations. Their personality should reflect their past experiances and their perseption of the world and life. You can make their personality as you please, as long as it retains originality.

   Magic and or Weapons:

   • I guarentee you will not last long in Paradox if you don't know how to fight. Your fighting style can range from blade to gun to karate etc. Remember that you can only pocess 2 weapons though.
   • Their are 7 types of magic. Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, and Energy. You can practice up to 2 differant kinds of magic. Remember that magic isn't invinsible, but it can be very powerful.

   The rest is up to you!

3. Role Playing

   Their are a variety of domains to rp, with a multitude of story lines to rp from. I encourage you to create your own stories that are interwoven with these plots, though. Like I said: Role Play Beyond Boundaries.

   • You can rp in any of the chat boxes posted throughout this site, or rp with a specific or multitude of people through messages (if you want to keep it a secret).

   Besides that, the doors are open to all posibilities. Be a vamp one minute, then an elf the next. Run rampant and free on Paradox, and enjoy your time!!

4. Character Sheet or CS

   Name: [First name or nickname required] [Last name optional]

   Gender: [M / F / U] (M=Male, F=Female, U=Unidentified)

   Age: [10-20]

   Species: [Vampire / Half-Robot / Human etc.]

   Specialty: [Thief / warrior / archer etc. only 1, unless you buy another.]

   Position: [against / with Dr. Itanaire] Weapon: [sword / gun / scythe / light saber etc. Maximum of 2, unless you buy another one.]

   Abilities: [Power sensing / plays the flute / karate etc. I don't really care what you put, but you may only have 3, unless you buy another one.]

   Bio: [insert description of character here, past life, dreams, hopes, fear, weaknesses, strengths, etc.]

   Any extra things you want to add, feel free!

5. AVOID CLICHES

   • -Mysterious past. RIGHT A FLIPPING BACKSTORY 
   • -Perfect wittle scool girl/boy. NO. NUH UH.
   • -Evil for No Reason. U has blonde hair I kill u now!
   • -Vampires being "perfect". NOBODY IS PERFECT NOT EVEN YO SPARKLEY BUTT. (btw vamps are NOT sparkley)
   • -Werewolves being Bad-boy Loners. Hey! STERYOTYPIST!
   • -Black clothes. NO. EVEN GOTH PEOPLE HAVE THEIR LIMITS.
   • -Elves do NOT have an item for every freaking situation.
   • -Orphans - I know my character and all the admin's characters are orphans, but that just proves how overused it is.
   • -Halflings. YOU EITHER ARE OR YOU AREN'T.
   • -Eyes that change color. SO. FLIPPING. USED. NOT EVEN FUNNY ASDFJKL;
   • -Look what new weapon or ability I just MAGICALLY have
   • - "mind bulles" No. You can not HURT someone with your mind. You can control them, or talk to them, but you can't HURT them.
   • - Very powerful mages. heh heh NO.
   • - "God powers" such as being able to bend the very fabric of space and time. Nobody is THAT powerful.
   • - Animal-Humans that are super strong and intelligent. If they are born part beast, then they WILL be slightly stupid.
   • - Random powerbursts. "HE KILLED EVERYONE WITH A FIRE SPELL THE END."
   • - Did I mention? VAMPIRES DO  NOT SPARKLE. PERIOD.
   • - Supah Shot. U cant kill someone from 10 miles away.
   • - FACE SHOT. No killing peeps by shooting them from 2 feet away :I
   • - Again, NOBODY IS PERFECT. Have some faults, dude!
   • - No blocking bullets with a sword or some crap. NOT POSSIBLE. 
   • - Supa-machino-gun. NOBODY GIVES A TEENAGER A MACHINE GUN. PERIOD.
   • - Le damsel in distress~ I SWEAR if you get abducted ONE MORE TIME...
   • - "daddy issues"
   • - being distracted by your bf/gf. ANNOYING. AS. HELL.
   • -VAMPS DO NOT LIVE FOREVAH
   • - Dragons. NO. DRAGONS. CLICHE~
   • - Zombies who die from a single stab. I'm sorry but ZOMBIES WHIP YOU BEFORE THEY DIE, dude. YOU MUST DESTROY THE BRAIN

   Before you but it in your bio, think: HAVE I SEEN THIS BEFORE? If yes, how many times? If more than 3 times, FORGET IT PUNKS ITS A CLICHE.

    

   The thing about cliches is that they ARE overused, but you CAN still use them. Just don't be annoying about it...

Rules

1. Rules

   The rules are as follows:

   1: you can be a vampire if you’ve been changed into one, you may be an elf if you are a changeling (you must buy this with points) and any other human-ish things while in Fosichos. For example: If you are bitten or kissed by a werewolf, you change into a werewolf.

   • a. If you are a changed vampire, the place where you are going to be a lot is The Realm of Darkness, as that is where the Vampires and Werewolves are located. You may still got to Fosichos, but I would suggest keeping you vampirism on the down low. Students may not like it that one of their classmates is feeding off of them. You are changed into a vampire by being bitten, or being born into vampirism.
   • b. If you are an elf, then you are highly intelligent, amazing with magic, fluent in Draconic etc. You may live in either Fosichos or Edar. You may be a changeling if you buy it with points. ( http://draconic.twilightrealm.com/ )
   • c. If you are a werewolf, another resident of The Realm of Darkness, then I would, again, suggest you keep your species a secret. You may either live in The Realm of Darkness or Fosichos. You are changed into a werewold by either a bite or a kiss from a werewolf, or you are born into being a werewolf.
   • d. You may also be (examples):

   • 1. Experimented on by mad scientists, so you are now half bird/wolf/monkey etc.
   • 2. Half robot
   • 3. 1/3 human, 1/3 elf, & 1/3 vampire
   • 4. Etc. Let your imagination run rampant!

   2. If you see an anonymous while traveling the large world of Paradox, ignore it and turn away. They’re annoying, but they’ll go away if you don’t listen. I know I’m kind of being a hypocrite by saying that though…

   3. You may have whatever weapon you want, as long as it goes with the dimension you’re in. If you have a machine gun in Edar, for example, that makes no sense, and I will ask you to change. Magic is kind of universal, along with other weapons/abilities, so just use common sense. If you’re not sure, just ask me or the admins.

   4. Ok, so I changed this rule. Instead of no reproducing, you are allowed to reproduce under VERY SPECIFIC rules. In the future, all of you should do these things:

   • a. Ask me or the 1 of the admins.
   • b. THE LIMIT IS 2 PREGNANCIES PER OC (if you have a miscarriage, it still counts as 1 pregnancy). I might let you have 1 more, but only if I’m super happy and slightly crazy at the time of your pleading.
   • c. YOU MUST HAVE A BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND (If you’re a dude).
   • d. You, or your girlfriend, have to be preggers for 1-3 weeks.
   • e. You may have twins/triplets, but nothing more than that, please. Annnd if you have twins/triplets, you must admit that you are a hormone enraged child who has no common sense. (Hint hint.)
   • f. I AM NOT ENFORCING TEENAGED PREGNANCIES.
   • g. You may only be preggers once every blue moon per person. (it’s a figure of speech… meaning I will get angry if you keep poppin em out left an right.
   • h. you have to be 16 or older to have a baby

   5. The age range is from 10 to 20. No people under or above that, unless you have a birthday that makes you 21 or older, you know… (if you get tired of your oc, then you can just kill him/her and make a new one.)

   6. If you want to kill someone, you have to get their permission first. You also cannot kill someone while they are not online. But you MAY hack away at all the cpu’s you could ever dream about, unless someone made that cpu, and claims it as their own. (ex: I made Matt, I am dating Matt in rp, Matt is MINE)

   7. Don’t swear to heavily. You can bleep it out like $ #%*! Or F***! Or whatever. Words like hell and ass are ok, cuz they aren’t that bad. I do allow some cussing though. ex: fuk is not considered cussing to me

   8. Magic is NOT invincible. Please no ‘kablooey, ur dead.’ Or ‘no, I blocked it wit magic.’

   9. NO BULLYING OR OTHERWISE BEING MEAN TO OTHER MEMBERS. IF YOU ARE COUGHT PREFORMING THIS OR REALTED ACTIVITIES I WILL DELEAT YOU.

   10. I’m a nice person, but I have an attitude. If you piss me off, then you’ll see that attitude. I hope you enjoy your time in Paradox!

1. What is Paradox?

   Paradox is a role playing site designed and maintained by me, Soloria, and my admins. Paradox integrates many differant kinds of rp sites into one, ranging from fantasy to school, super powers, vampire, and many others. Paradox itself is placed in a sci-fi world known as Fosichos, where a mad scientist named Dr. Intanaire founded a boarding school named Intanaire, which you will attending in role play.

2. Can I go to Ash Academy?

   Eh.... well.... that depends.

   If you can convince me, I will let you go, but if you CAN'T convince me....

   Get back to class!

3. Soloria-- how come in rp you either don't do anything, or you dominate it?

   I don't know.

   I'm a very contrary person.

   Sometimes I just don't feel like being dominate.

   Same reason for why sometimes I hog the rp.

4. Why is this website so random sometimes? I like my rps to be serious.

   'Cause it's run by a bunch of teenagers with WAY to much time on their hands.

   And I would suggest you try out a more light-hearted style of rp. You might actually LIKE it.

5. What should my name be / What abilities should I have?

   Whatever you like. Just make sure it's/they are aprpriate.

    I don't really see a point of it, so I simply didn't make one for it.

    Plus, it'd be hard to do that for the website itself.

    I could see us doing that for maybe individual characters, but the entire WEBSITE would really focus on getting our entire "group" to collaborate efficently.

    Plus, it'd be creepy to have people following us all...

    I don't know, though. Maybe if the website ever becomes more popular we could do that.
